From Soil to the Community

Parker Family Urban Farms LLC is a Black woman-owned urban farm in Warren, Ohio dedicated to agricultural education, fresh food production, and community food access. Founded by Markisha Parker, the farm provides youth programs, beginner farmer training, and workforce development opportunities while growing fresh produce and creating farm-crafted products. Parker Farms is also developing the Farm Stop Marketplace to strengthen the local food economy and expand access to healthy, locally sourced food.

Our mission is to nurture sustainable urban farming, empower youth, and support new farmers with the skills and resources needed to thrive. Rooted in community connection and food justice, we strive to build a healthier, inclusive food system.
